The dwl file uses those java files to do some operation. This is the primary app (app1) which I want to reference in another app (app2 )as a pom dependency. The name of the primary is encryption-1.0.5-mule-application.jar. These are two hidden files that have the same name as the.dwg file but with the extensions.dwl and.dwl2. In the Windows Control Panel, go to Folder Options. On the View tab, turn on the option to show hidden files. You can then go back to the folder directory and delete the.dwl and.dwl2 files if they are found alongside your DWG file.

What is a DWL file?

Files that contain the .dwl file extension are most commonly associated with the TurboCAD 2D and 3D design software applications. The DWL files that are used by these programs contain lock files of the TCW files that are being used by the application.

Dwl File Format

When more than one user access the same TCW drawing, a DWL file is created to prevent the actual file from becoming corrupted or accidentally overwritten. The DWL file allows a user to view a copy of the file, but does not allow for editing of the file while the original file is open. The DWL file is automatically deleted once the file has been closed.
